In recognition of our commitment to maintain high standards of environmental management, Eagle Printers was awarded 1SO 14001:2004 accreditation in January 2012.

This was a huge step forward for us, which has inspired us to further reduce our environmental impact.

As a print company we fully accept that our day-to-day activities have an impact on the environment. However, we are committed to minimising the effects of our business in the following ways:

Environmentally Friendly Printing

 Paper

When consulting our clients, we are passionate about promoting the use of recycled paper and paper from sustainable sources. This not only has a positive impact on our business, but on our client’s business too.

Plates

We use new ‘computer to plate’ technology, which has reduced waste from the plate making process and from the end product itself; as the plate is made from recyclable aluminium.

Inks

At Eagle Printers we use eco-friendly vegetable based inks. Any waste ink is collected by a licensed waste disposal operator.

Equipment

The machines and tools used in our production are regularly maintained to ensure a consistent quality from one job to the next. And all of our equipment is carefully and critically vetted for energy efficiency and waste reduction before we purchase.

Packaging

We try hard to use as little packaging as possible whilst maintaining a good level of protection for our client’s products.
